The Chancellor's Office

Organizational structure

The State University of Tocantins is structured with the Chancellor's Office, Pro-chancellors' Offices, Directorates, and Coordinations focused on Undergraduate, Graduate, Research, and Extension services. The Chancellor's Office is the highest executive body of Unitins, to which the other sectors are subordinated.

Chancellor
Augusto de Rezende Campos

Augusto Rezende has a degree in Computer Science from PUC-GO. He is a specialist in IT and Education from the Federal University of Lavras / MG. He also has an MBA in Information Technology from UAB and a master's degree in management and Regional Development from the University of Taubaté / SP. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the UnirG University Center, in the chair of System, Management and Governance of Information Technology. He is a consultant and facilitator of Sebrae Tocantins and National in Information Technology and Innovation activities. He worked as a system analyst at the Court of Justice of the State of Goiás (TJ-GO) and also at the Technical Advisory of IT and Telecommunications of the Military Police of the State of Tocantins (PM-TO). He has held the positions of Secretary of Administration of Gurupi, coordinator of the Information Technology Center of the Unirg Foundation, and coordinator of the structuring and creation team of the Sustainable Development Master Plan of the Municipality of Gurupi. He has been a associate professor at Unitins since 2016 in the Information Technology Program, Palmas Campus.

Vice-Chancellor
Darlene Teixeira Castro

Darlene Teixeira Castro has a Ph.D. in Communication and Contemporary Cultures from UFBA, a master's degree in information science from PUC-Campinas, a specialization in Methodologies and Languages in Distance Education from Unitins, a specialization in Management and New Technologies from Ceulp / Ulbra. She graduated in Journalism and Languages from Ceulp/Ulbra. She conducted post-doctoral studies in social networks at the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT). She is currently an associate professor at the State University of Tocantins (Unitins) in the Information Technology, Palmas Campus. She has worked at Unitins since 2005.

Alessandra Ruita Santos Czapski

Alessandra Ruita Santos Czapski has a master's degree in Social Work from the Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás (PUC-GO). She is a specialist in Administration and Planning of Social Projects from Unigranrio and has a degree in Social Work from the Lutheran University Center of Palmas (Ceulp / Ulbra). She is an associate professor at the State University of Tocantins (Unitins) in the Social Work / Palmas Campus. She has worked at Unitins since 2007.

Pro-Chancellor for Research and Graduate Studies
Ana Flávia Gouveia de Faria

Ana Flávia Gouveia de Faria is a zootechnician graduated from the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT). She has a Master's in Agronomy (Soil Science) from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho and has a Ph.D. in Sciences (Animal Science and Pastures) from the Luiz de Queiroz School of Agriculture (Esalq / USP), with a visiting research period at the University of Florida (UF). She has an MBA in AgriAdministration from the University of São Paulo (USP). She is an associate professor at the State University of Tocantins (Unitins) in the Agronomic Engineering graduation / Palmas Campus.

Pro-Chancellor for Extension, Culture, and Community Affairs
Gisele Leite Padilha

Gisele Leite Padilha holds a Ph.D. in Accounting and Administration (Fucape), a Master’s degree in Regional Management and Development (Unitau), a specialization in Higher Education Teaching (Fabic), a specialization in Tourism and Hospitality (Faveni), and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Fabic). She is a full-time professor at the State University of Tocantins, affiliated with the Accounting Sciences program at the Augustinópolis Campus. She also works as an accountant and consultant accredited by the Support Service for Micro and Small Businesses of Tocantins (Sebrae/TO). Her professional experience encompasses both Accounting and Public and Private Management. She is the leader of the Strategic Marketing Research Group at the State University of Tocantins and a faculty researcher in the Interdisciplinary Research Group on Management, Accounting, and Finance (Geconfi) at the same institution. She has been a faculty member at Unitins since 2015.

Ricardo de Oliveira Carvalho

Ricardo de Oliveira Carvalho has a bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Gurupi (Unirg), is a specialist in Administrative Law and Public Law with an emphasis on bids and contracts, an Accounting technician and entrepreneur. He has been working at Unitins since 2019, holding the position of Administrative Director until January 2022, when he became the pro-chancellor.
